Project: Provision of Site Surveys and Technical Services for Bridge Deck Refurbishment Contract, Gravelly Hill Site: Gravelly Hill Interchange, Birmingham Structure Type: Reinforced Concrete Highway Structure

Following the removal of road surfacing and expired waterproofing systems on the various carriageways of the Gravelly Hill Interchange, Corrosion Prevention Limited, on behalf of Contractor Currall Lewis and Martin undertook surveys of the reinforced concrete decks.  These surveys included delamination surveys, half-cell surveys, chloride sampling and depth of cover investigations.

Our technicians also oversaw the installation of galvanic anodes into concrete repairs and undertook all necessary associated testing.
